It all started in August of 1996, in a small county in North Carolina named Catawba; Israel was conceived by his parents, and then raised by his father side family in Mexico City, here he grew as an only child and studied elementary school to the first quarter of college
By the age of 7, I recall my dad buying me disposable cameras so I could play around and shoot all the pictures I wanted, also,

we used to watch the negatives through a visor that allowed us to see only one frame at a time. In the last years of high school, I got a craving interest on photography as an aesthetic way to see buildings and patterns that the trees draw in the skies
After finishing high school, I started to get interested in photography as an art form, looking up at artists like, Henri Cartier Bresson, Vivian Maier, Joseph Koudelka, amongst others
I started college one year after high school and had photography as one of the curricular assignments, my professor Francisco Coba, showed me the ways to photojournalism, so i started to take photographs in riots, protests and studio session photography
After dropping out of college I started to make street photography and shoot on black and white, which I’ve been doing for at least 4 years now
