I started this page with the hope of sharing photos and information concerning living outside the United States. While I have enjoyed learning about what I am photographing, researching critters and locations to give as much information as possible, it has become an endeavor in futility and frustration. I am currently considering other platforms to get this story out. While Facebook is good for ke

eping in touch with family and friends it has also become a toxic wasteland of misinformation, bogus/unsafe advertisers and just plain hatred in some cases. I am concerned about having my page on a platform that is not consistent with my desire to separate myself from the fray. EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO REACT TO SAID OPINIONS IN THEIR OWN WAY. One would think these two statements are fairly cut and dried and common sensical. What does not make sense is those who present opinion as fact, and eagerly present it to "destroy" those who point out the facts as they are known. I have no room in my life for this grade school mentality and regret that people have to wade through a sea of s**t to find a little sunshine in their life. I will continue to search for an alternative and keep you posted when I find a solution. to all who have checked out my page. If you have a suggestion on how to solve my dilemma, please feel free to drop me a line.

After many hours of doing a bunch of stuff, I have never done before, my website, Calderitas and Beyond is now LIVE! It is by no means finished; will it ever be? Nope! After the ups and downs of nearly two years in Southern Mexico, it comes down to this. Due to local restrictions, traditional employment options are unavailable. A lack of strong enough WiFi, at any of the locations where I have lived, makes working remotely for a US company impossible at this time. My remaining option is to work for myself and dedicate my time to making a hobby, a job. Unfortunately, this will take some time before it becomes sustainable. That is where Fundly enters the picture. I ask you to invest in my dedication to dispelling the myths of Mexico by providing up-to-date and accurate information to those who are interested in visiting or relocating to the beautiful land that has adopted me as one of its own.
You can see the work I have done on a part-time basis to date. Being able to work on these projects full-time will increase the quality and quantity of my posts.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Facebook? I have not posted anything in quite a while here due to that fact. I have many photos and stories to post from the last few months and I thought I would at least finish posting items from San Miguel de Allende here, but that is most likely not going to happen. Once I get through with higher priorities, I will bite the bullet and create a webpage for my posts.
