After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts and specializing in photography I decided to move to amazing Los Cabos, México. f people´s lifes by taking photos for Destination Weddings. Sometimes I will find myself on an empty beach with no one but a girl and a boy with hidden engagement ring in his pocket. Other times I will share the sunset with a family that wants to remember how life was when they look at the photos a couple years from now.

Here’s why I told this couple no. I love film, the grain, the authenticity, the aesthetic, but what I don’t love is risking the photos of the most important moment of your life. Film is fickle, sometimes it turns out great, sometimes there are light leaks, sometimes rolls get damaged.

When a couple asked me to shoot their entire wedding on film, I suggested doing a combination of digital photos with the added film photography on top of that. By doing that combination, you have the guarantee that your memories are preserved, but you still get that great film aesthetic.

Here’s my biggest tip for couples on wedding day: take some time together before the day starts.

Take a walk, get a coffee, jump on the pool. Take a moment to really ground together.

The day after a wedding, I’m hungover. Wedding hungover.

From having to be on all day, to talking, to being super emotionally invested and present for the couple, the next day is a huge crash. We’re talking couch rotting and lots of scrolling on the phone.

I prioritize connection over poses. Carving out time for a casual session or a few portraits during your welcome party is about more than just extra photos. There is a specific rhythm to how you move together. Pre-wedding sessions allow us to find that flow before the main event. If a separate day doesn’t fit your schedule, we can sneak away during your welcome party for a few frames. It’s the perfect warm up to ensure you feel entirely yourselves in front of my lens.

🚤 Intimate weddings are slowly winning me over. I spent the afternoon celebrating with Riley & Cody on a day that felt truly intentional and authentic.

We started at the beach for their couple’s photos, we drove together to the marina and we boarded a yacht. Sunset at the sea is one of my favorite things in the world. Seeing how people get to enjoy Cabo just fills my heart.
