honestly, a wedding photographers hack to recording your own BTS, your couple’s BTS and the cutest footage. Maybe also sometimes some suspicious faces but I myself was suspicious of this magical stick at first.

If you want gorgeous aerial shots but drones aren’t allowed (or they’re just way too loud for an intimate ceremony) this wedding hack is for you! 🤩

The (tiny!!) Insta360 X6 gives you a perfect drone-like perspective without actually having to fly anything, AND you can capture your own BTS while you’re working - hear me out: It works whether you prefer on-camera or on-body mounts or handheld, because the X6 shoots a 360° video, so you capture the WHOLE scene in the moment and choose my framing LATER. This is SO helpful and allows you to completely focus on capturing the wedding! It’s at 50fps in 8K, so zooming in to a certain area or going slow-mo is easy too.

You can select your perspective later manually or use the AI Auto Edit, which helps those of us who film a ridiculous amount of footage turn all of that into something actually usable without spending the entire week editing it.

Who knew being a speaker would look like this? Thank you for having me, !

Vienna was a real full circle moment. Having the chance to inspire other photographers by talking about my work, my life, my projects, on this stage was the biggest honor!

The theme was “the unsexy stuff” (like…bookkeeping) and I am so grateful to be living this life and to have this amazing career. I’m always happy to share knowledge, so please don’t be shy to reach out if you have follow-up questions after my talk!

Rachel & Chris - Mexico! 🌴 
It’s so easy to fall in love with Mexico with all your senses. Rachel and Chris spent their first holiday together here at Imanta Resorts - making this stunning and secluded place the perfect spot for their destination wedding! Chris is from Australia and Rachel is from Floriday, so a beach was a must. They knew from the start that it would have to be an extended holiday wedding weekend, so they could have enough time with all their guests flying in from very far away. With crystal clear water and luxurious villas of Imanta tucked away in the palm tress, I can’t imagine a more relaxing destination. And anybody who has experienced Eli’s band before knows… this party is not going to be epic! They are absolutely unparalleled.

One year later and I still can’t believe how beautifully everything came together, how many personal elements those two added to their wedding weekend to make this experience extra special for their guests. Having everybody you love in one place and creating memories together is just where it’s at, and Rachel and Chris absolutely made this an incredible experience for everybody.

I am so grateful for a powerhouse creative team who made the vision come to life!
