Palacio Postal

A view of the central staircase of this majestic building that was the 5th location for the central Postal Office in Mexico, built in early 1900s is an awesome example of the eclectic architecture, restored at the end of the XX century is a must visit place in downtown Mexico City.

Banco de Mexico - Edificio de la Mutua

Built between 1903 and 1905 for Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, later in 1925 was bought and restored art deco style for the newly established Central Bank.

Today this building is used for the "Museum Bank of Mexico" a place worth the visit while in downtown Mexico City.

An impressive architectural building in the heart of Mexico City, opened in 2006 is one of the most visited public libraries in America.

Mars Occultation

Last night for at least 30 minutes Mars disappeared behind the Moon, the size difference is the result of Mars being twice as big as the Moon and ~150 times farther.

Not sure how it happened but I am glad I started paying attention to all these celestial events that I am able to capture with my lens.
