This wedding was so special for me to capture because I was able to document Lakin and Jasmyne’s entire wedding journey from start to finish! This included the proposal in Scottsdale, engagement portraits in Sedona and finally their destination wedding in Cancún! It was such an honor to capture each milestone for them and so much fun to celebrate with their friends and family in Mexico! 🥂🪅🎊

Since yesterday was National Puppy Day, it seems as good a time as any to introduce our new puppy, Charlie! 🤍 He’s only been here a few days, but we’re already in love with him! He’s a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and we love his patches of blue merle, the way he turns into a cuddle puddle the moment you hold him, his heart shaped nose, and his big ears & tail. 🥰 He loves morning snuggles, racing around the backyard, munching on grass, and stealing shoes when we’re not looking. 🫠 We’re so happy he’s here and excited share more of him as he grows up! 🥹

This was such a fun day! Melina and Steven traveled to Arizona and wanted to capture their engagement portraits while they were here. We strolled through the Desert Botanical Gardens, captured the sweetest moments, and even made a little friend at the end (swipe to see!) Getting to know them was so wonderful and celebrating their engagement at the gardens made for beautiful memories and photographs. :)

There are just certain photographs I’ll always cherish. In this bridal portrait, the lighting is what makes me come back to it. The blend of even light in the foreground, mixed with a small amount of sunlight highlighting our bride’s hair & gown from behind is what makes this set of portraits one of my favorites. :)

Also, raising a cup (of coffee, wine or whiskey — your choice!) to all the photographers out there working hard to wrap up the holiday season! We got this! ☕️🥃🥂
