When I think of Mexico I think of COLOR. Its boldly colored houses, its streets adorned with lovely bugambilias and other fresh flowers, its people selling all types of delicious food on the street. I love my home country and all it has to offer.

Yesterday was a fun day in Fredericksburg, TX. We started with a glass of wine at the beautiful Das Peach Haus, went on to have a cup of coffee (yeah, I know, coffee should have come first) in town and then went to visit Becker Vineyards to have a another glass of wine surrounded by fields of poppy and lavender. The weather was perfect, the wine was delicious and the company was great; all in all a perfect Sunday.
Now that I’m moving to another state, I want to visit all the places I didn’t in like 8 years of living in TX. Happens every time.

I was driving the other day and saw a bunch of red poppy on the curbside and I got super excited, like giddy excited and started going over my schedule in my head to make some time to go shoot some photos at a poppy field. Then I felt a bit lame for getting so excited but that’s ok 🤷🏻‍♀️ so here I am enjoying my field of poppy.

I love me some bugambilias! They’re beautiful in any color (you can usually find them in orange, purple, white, soft pink) but these fuchsia ones are my favorite by far. It was lovely seeing them decorate the walls of so many homes in Mexico.
