Settled weather and warmer sea temperatures….

Recent dives have turned up more warm water species like Red Mullet, along with for the first time sighting of a Grey Triggerfish below the surface.

You never know what you’ll spot on the next dive, and it’s interesting to watch some of these changes especially over all the years of diving.

Diving with the Certina DS SUPER PH2000M STC as a trusted companion. With 2000m water resistance and ISO 6425:2018 certification, it’s built to meet the highest standards of professional dive watches. Looking forward to getting back under and filming more of the species along our coastline 🎥

Busy week of diving, from habitat mapping surveys to then seagrass seed picking with Project Seagrass

19 hours spent below the surface in everything from calm, clear water to challenging shallow swell with visibility under 1m. Always great to get in the water for scientific work with such these teams 🙌🏼

The last month below the surface…

Julys delivered the perfect conditions with clear warm water and plenty of marine life.

Where it’s been great to see so many heading below the surface and exploring the local coastline 👌🏼

Where these conditions have allowed the opportunity to get in at new sites and time with species that aren’t encountered often such as Small Eyed Rays

No tanks…

With the conditions so clear and calm , it’s been the perfect time to go lighter on the kit and explore some new sites, which have certainly delivered with lots of life being present. Especially to be able to go back a few times and regularly see small eyed rays in the shallows

Big thanks to Phill Boyd for getting some behind the lens shots 📸
