Before heading back to Mauritius, arriving just before our confinement kicked in, I travelled with my suitcase, camera and guitar in Africa, Europe and Asia, doing a combination of community help and photography. You’ll also see some of the beautiful faces I encountered on these travels in the “People” album. I was touched and transformed by each community, their uniqueness, their hearts, and their ways of life.

One of my favourite things about travelling is connecting with people from different cultures. Whether in moments through a camera lens and short conversation, or a heart to heart while hearing the deeper parts of their story.

Kenya, 2019

These five women prepped and cooked for a group of around 60 of all ages, full of joy and laughter. It was a beautiful last afternoon before I drove a few hours north to spend time in another village between Mombasa and Nairobi.
