Yesterday on Friday 29 May 2026 the official launching of Bhojpuri feature film "Guru Dakshina" (2 hrs) was performed at Mcine of Flacq with great prompt in the presence of Mrs Sharmeen Akbar, representative of Ministry of Art and Cultural Heritage., Mrs Varsharanee Doolooa, Chairperson of Bhojpuri Speaking Union, Guriji Mohur Lall Chummun OSK, Treasurer of Bhojpuri Speaking Union and member of GOPIO, Mr Ansley Dindoyal and Adarsh Lolljee, representative of Mauritius Film Development corporation, Mrs Sarita Boodoo, ex- chairperson of Bhojpuri Speaking Union, Mrs Aruna Rattan, Business Woman and Head of Bhojpuri Bola Parivaar, Acharya Pawan Tiwari ji, distinguished guests, artists relatives and friends. My special thanks also goes to all the sponsors namely, Mr Vikram Teeruthraj Hurdoyal Director of OTF, Vishal Libre Boutik, Alteo, SAV Garments, horlogier Dev, Boom Faya Vibes, Shashi Jugoo and Kailash Soomarooa for their unflinching support and help for the shooting of the film without forgetting Kavi Bundhoo for his editing task..
