Good Morning. As you are all well aware, we are currently under a class 3 warning hence are under the severe threat of a very very very strong tropical storm/cyclone named Berguitta. Do take all precautionary measures well before the cyclone finally hits our little island. Secure your houses, bring in your pets and stay alert at all times. I wish everybody stays SAFE ! My thoughts go to those who live in very difficult conditions or who simply do not have a roof over their heads. I hope they seek refuge in the nearest refuge centres soon. Let's all pray that this cyclone goes away fast.. Again, stay safe everybody !

Weather was perfect for the devotees , no/ very little sun.This time in some photos, I tried to capture the beautiful colours this festival always offers !

Cyclone warning 2, rainy-windy weather ? Here's a lil bit of sunshine for you :)

La Prairie is a vast stretch of grass and beach land, located between Le Morne Village and Baie du Cap in the southwest of Mauritius.

With its picturesque backdrop of Le Morne Brabant in the distance, the area is a popular picnic spot ! With a few exceptions, most of La Prairie beach is protected by the southwest coral reef of Le Morne, and the majority of La Prairie enjoys shallow, calm waters year round, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

The wind around the bay makes the area very popular with adventurous surfers – but due to the reef break and depth, the area is also popular with sharks. Always consult local surfers if you intend to windsurf or kitesurf in this area.

As for general beach facilities, La Prairie is somewhat limited. Due to its isolated location, there is no real infrastructure here, due to its lack of facilities, La Prairie is a beach where you need to be a bit prepared before you go, but it is still well worth a visit, as it is one of the last major undeveloped beaches of the south ツ

Curepipe est la deuxième ville de Maurice (81 600 habitants en 2003). Elle est située sur les hauteurs, presqu'au centre de l'île Maurice, dans le district des Plaines Wilhems.

On dit de Curepipe qu'elle est la ville la plus européenne du pays à cause de son climat humide et froid !

J'espère honorer comme il se doit (à travers mes photos) cette charmante ville !
