THE MOST COMPLEX AND BEAUTIFUL LAYTU CHIN TATTOO PATTERN: first documented by me in 2004 and published in my book "Bloodfaces" (2007) which inspired various photographers and painters. In case you see this pattern painted on canvas, you now know the origin (as some artists do not have the courtesy to state the source).

No freckles, but tattooed dots: A young Matu Chin woman from Matubi, Chin State, Myanmar. I believe it is the first time that this particular tattoo pattern of the Chin has been captured on film!
