From the historic alleys of the Rabat Medina a UNESCO World Heritage site we celebrate a new chapter of pride. Following the official inscription of the Moroccan Kaftan as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, we present an exclusive photoshoot featuring the model Safaa, the Moroccan caftan Ambassador for 2025/2026.
In this session, Safaa embodies the majesty of the Fassi « Nta’a » caftan, adorned with the ancient « Peacock » (Tawous) pattern. Meticulously hand-embroidered with pure gold thread, the piece was selected under the artistic vision and supervision of Creative Director and Stylist Hamza el mokaddem, who chose this garment as a symbol of Moroccan royal prestige.
The « Ntaa » caftan, with its signature peacock motif, remains one of the oldest and most luxurious symbols of traditional Moroccan attire. Born from the craftsmanship of Fes, the Kingdom’s scientific capital, it has evolved into a global icon that transcends borders, preserving a historical depth and timeless elegance that has enchanted international stars during their visits to Morocco
