🇬🇧 5 places to visit in the Peak District ⬇️

1. Chatsworth House – One of England’s most iconic stately homes, with opulent interiors and 105 acres of gorgeous gardens. Pride & Prejudice fans might recognise it as Mr Darcy’s Pemberley! Don’t miss the Painted Hall, Sculpture Gallery, and Emperor Fountain.

2. Bamford Edge – One of my favourite hikes in the Peaks, with incredible views over Ladybower Reservoir. It only takes around 20–30 minutes to reach the gritstone edge and I highly recommend timing your visit for golden hour – it’s one of the best sunset spots in the Peak District.

3. Castleton – A postcard-perfect limestone village tucked beneath the ruins of Peveril Castle. Explore cosy tearooms, pubs and shops selling the local Blue John gemstone, or visit nearby Peak Cavern and Speedwell Cavern. It’s also perfectly located for hiking Mam Tor & The Great Ridge.

4. Lud’s Church – This enchanting moss-covered gorge genuinely feels straight out of a fantasy novel. The natural chasm is around 18 metres deep and 100 metres long, with towering rock walls covered in ferns and moss. It’s even linked to the medieval legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

5. Bakewell – A charming riverside market town and the birthplace of the famous Bakewell Tart! I actually recommend trying the original Bakewell Pudding too, then wander the independent shops and Bath Gardens before strolling along the River Wye to the Grade I-listed 14th-century Bakewell Bridge.

ad 🇬🇧 London’s newest date night spot ⬇️

London has some of the best Indian restaurants in the world, so when I went to check out the city’s latest South Asian opening, my expectations were high. Thankfully, absolutely delivered. Just opened in August, Bulbul is a few steps from Blackfriars Station, and the moment I arrived it felt more like a luxurious rainforest retreat than central London, with elegant organic forms throughout the venue and a tranquil water feature.

The bar was set high from the beginning with a gorgeous amuse-bouche platter served on a bed of rocks, featuring three bites including a deep-fried oyster and pani puri that was a literal flavour explosion.

We ordered a feast, including Jodhpuri Lamb Chops, which arrived as a generous portion, alongside Dal Bulbul because I’ll always gravitate towards a side of black daal. The crowd favourite was the Dhaabe Ka Butter Chicken, a cult classic for a reason, but Chef Yash’s rendition was one of the juiciest & most flavoursome versions I’ve tried.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been that bothered by biryani, but Bulbul’s Ambur Biryani completely changed my mind. It’s made with short-grain rice rather than the usual long-grain, then served with nutty aubergine gravy + onion raita.

My standout dishes were a close tie between the Lobster Ghee Roast with Cauliflower Poriyal Purée, one of the most unique lobster dishes I’ve tried in London, and the Tamil Nadu Forest Pepper Crab Dosa, an exquisite pairing of spicy crab with a crisp rice crepe, coconut chutney and gunpowder.

Ordering cocktails is a full-on sensory experience too, with an interactive menu presented in a wooden box so you can smell and taste the flavour profiles behind each serve. As a Negroni gal, I adored the punchy, fragrant Sandalwood & Nannari Negroni.

Dessert was another highlight: the Fig Kulfi with Gingerbread Rabri + rich Coorg Chocolate Pavé with Tulsi ice cream + orange granita were both incredible.

Located in the Cotswolds, just 2 hours from London, this adorable cottage I found on is the perfect place to stay for a cosy Autumn weekend break. 💬 Comment LINK, and I’ll send you a link to this Airbnb long with more of my favourite cosy cottage stays in the Cotswolds. This thatched chocolate-box cottage is tucked away on a quiet road in the village of Kingham. It’s full of character, with low beams, a huge inglenook fireplace with a crackling log burner, and the cosiest sofa for slow mornings and movie marathons.

Upstairs, there are two beautifully decorated king bedrooms, while downstairs you’ll find a small but perfectly equipped kitchen with an Aga, bake-at-home croissants in the freezer 🥐, and underfloor heating keeping everything toasty.

There’s also a gorgeous private patio garden just across the path, tucked between apple trees and reached through a rose arch; it’s a perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of rosé when the sun’s out.

The location couldn’t be better. You’re a short walk from The Wild Rabbit and The Kingham Plough, with Daylesford Organic just a 30-minute stroll down the bridle path. It’s ideal for couples, friends or families looking for a relaxed countryside break – and it’s dog-friendly too! 🐾

ad 🇬🇧 London’s best breakfast with a view ⬇️

I think I just found my new favourite breakfast spot in London, with jaw-dropping views of Tower Bridge. This riverside restaurant is perf for a weekend brunch catch-up with the girlies or a mid-morning work meeting or co-working sesh, with plenty of spaces to chill with your laptop.

This is .londonbridge, located on the south side of the River Thames, just a short walk from London Bridge Station.

📍Coppa Club London Bridge – 2 More London Pl, SE1 2JP

My breakfast menu picks? I highly recommend the green shakshuka for a healthy start to the day, or treat yourself to the spiced French toast topped with clotted cream, raspberries, pomegranate & pistachios.

🇲🇦 Comment LINK for Agafay Desert Camp link ⬇️

💬Comment LINK on this post and I’ll send you a message with a link to my Agafay Desert guide including my recommendations on the best luxury (but affordable) desert camps you can stay in for an incredible experience in the desert 🏜️Btw, I even found an amazing overnight Agafay Desert experience that includes transfers from Marrakech, a 4-course dinner, breakfast and live music and fire performances in the evening - currently on sale for £43 per person!

You can’t go to Morocco without experiencing the desert; however, a trip to the Sahara Desert could mean losing two full days of your itinerary just in transit, with most journeys taking 9 hours from Marrakech.

Instead, spend a night beneath the stars in the Agafay Desert. Only a 45-minute drive from Marrakech, this rocky desert feels a world away from the city’s horns and hustle.Unlike the golden dunes of the Sahara, Agafay’s landscape is made up of rolling, moon-like hills that glow shades of gold and pink at sunset. Once considered Marrakech’s best-kept secret, it’s now home to a collection of chic desert camps and boutique luxury lodges that combine wilderness with total comfort.

The word “camp” is used here loosely, because in reality you will find super luxurious tents with plush king-sized beds, walk-in waterfall showers, air conditioning, private plunge pools and lantern-lit dinners under the stars.I recommend doing an overnight desert camp stay. When I visited, I spent most of my time lounging by the pool and flipping through a fantasy romance novel, though if you’re looking for activities to pass the time, then most camps offer a range of experiences that you can easily fill your stay with activities like quad biking, yoga, stargazing or even a sunrise hot air balloon ride.🇲🇦
