The sacred monkeys of Soko. In the Village of Soko at the boarder between Ivory Coast and Ghana exists a village who worships the monkeys
I spent a day there, enjoying the people's simple life and being guided from tree to tree by the kids to shoot photos of monkeys

The sacred monkeys of Soko in Ivory coasts
At the boarder between GHANA and IVORY COAST exists a village who worships the monkeys. I spent a day in Soko, first I had to pass the council of the wises to allow to enter the village, then i've been guided by the children from tree to tree to shoot some photos of monkeys, we even went in the no man land between Ghana and Ivory coast to catch better shots.what a day!

Early in the morning while I was having a breakfast in the streets of Bondoukou (Ivory coast) I saw this young boy already at work, sorting trashes to find things to recycle or re-use. No needs to ask him for s photo , he asked me directly to get a picture of him! First pic of the morning is always a good pic!

There's only 5 rhinos remaining on the waterfall plateau park. Because of illegal hunting, the specie started to disappered. The 5 still living there (2 couples and a baby) are watchers by rangers day and night.

Welcome to Nofoin! A small village from the Northern part of Ivorycoast, the region of Korhogo. People are still living in these tradicional hut... Feels like a travel in the past!

When I saw them 100meters away from me in the land, I thought these little meerkats would be hard to shoot.
I walked in their direction quietly thinking that the will run away at any moment...but they let me come closer and closer (until 2-3 meters) enough to take good shots of them. I don't know what they were staring at but it mattered them more than me and my camera.

The beach of grand-Bassam in Ivory Coast on a peaceful afternoon. It's the first placer I've visited when I arrived in Ivory Coast. A real paradise in a country under construction.
