الضريح الملكي
يقع الضريح عند مدخل المدينة الحديثة ويبعد عن مدينة طلميثة الأثرية مئات الأمتار ويعرف هذا الضريح الأثري بالضريح الملكي أو الضريح “الهلنستي”.

شيد هذا الضريح أعلى صخرة قرب الشاطئ بالقرب من محاجر قديمة، ويحتوي على طابقين وقسم الطابق الأرضي إلى عشرة أقبية جنائزية، ولم يكتشف أي بناء مشابه معماريا لهذا الضريح في الإقليم مما يجعله واحدا من أكثر المعالم الأثرية تميزا في ليبيا.

هذا الضريح يتشابه مع العديد من الأبنية المصرية ويرجع تاريخ إنشائه للعصر البلطمي في برقة والذي استمر من القرن الثالث للميلاد وحتى سيطرة الرومان على الإقليم في القرن الأول للميلاد.

وتوجد بعض المصطبات الحجرية الشبيهة بقاعدة الضريح وسط المحجر القريب والذي يقع إلى الغرب وهذا الأمر دعا بعض الباحثين إلى افتراض وجود أضرحة مشابهة في المكان انهارت واندثرت مع الزمن، إلا أن بعض الدارسين يستبعدون ذلك فلا يوجد أي بقايا أثرية لتلك الأضرحة يمكن بها تعزيز هذه الفرضية.

The Royal Tomb or Mausoleum, a tower-tomb of Hellenistic date that stood over 15 meters in height. There is no other tomb of this type or grandeur in the Cyrenaica. It has been proposed that the structure, in style more akin to the Mausoleum in Halicarnassus or the elaborate tower tombs of Palmyra, may have been intended for Ptolemy VIII Physcon Euergetes II who ruled the Cyrenaica from 163 BC until 145 BC at which time he moved back to Egypt to rule both regions after his brother‟s death. In addition to this tomb, other more regionally typical rock-cut tombs surround the city, some of which were used as quarries in the later period. These tombs bear inscriptions that testify to the varying ethnicities of the inhabitants in the city – Libyan, Greek, Roman, Jewish, and Christian.

يواصل أهالي بلدة كرسة الساحلية غرب مدينة درنة جهودهم لإصلاح ساقية عين كرسة في وادي الأنجيل جنوب كرسة، وقد تضررت الساقية التي تمد البلدة بالمياة بسبب الفيضانات التي تسبب فيها العاصفة المتوسطية دانيال العام الماضي، الأمر الذي أدى حدوث إنهيارات في بعض أجزاء الساقية التي تنقل المياه العذبة من الينابيع الجبلية جنوب وادي الإنجيل الى صهريج حفظ المياه في البلدة .

تعتمد عملية إصلاح وترميم وتجديد الساقية على جهود ذاتية من أهالي البلدة ودعم من بعض رجال الأعمال والتجار و التبرعات العينية من أهالي المناطق القريبة ومن مدينة درنة، ويقوم بعض من أهالي كرسة بأعمال الصيانة والتجديد ، ويناشد أهالي المنطقة الجهات المسؤولة بدعم جهودهم في هذا العمل لما تمثله تلك الساقية من قيمة كبيرة لمعاشهم، فهي تعتبر المصدر الوحيد للمياه العذبة في المنطقة الواقعة غرب مدينة درنة.

The people of the coastal town of "Karsa", west of the city of Derna, continue their efforts to repair the "Karsa" water canal in Wadi Al-Anjil, south of Karsa. The canal, which supplies the town with water, was damaged by the floods caused by the Mediterranean storm Daniel last year, which led to collapses in some parts of the canal that carries fresh water from the mountain springs south of Wadi Al-Anjil to the water storage tank in the town. The process of repairing, restoring and renewing the canal depends on the self-efforts of the town's people and the support of some businessmen and merchants and in-kind donations from the people of nearby areas and the city of Derna. Some of the people of Karsa are carrying out maintenance and renovation work, and the people of the area are appealing to the responsible authorities to support their efforts in this work because of the great value of this canal to their livelihood, as it is considered the only source of fresh water in the area west of the city of Derna.
