🎬 Made this for Kling AI 4K Short Film Creative Contest

Yesterday Kling AI dropped a huge update - you can now generate videos directly in 4K with Kling 3.0 🤯 And right away they launched a contest with cash prizes and credits… so yeah, I had to jump in 😄

In the evening I started brainstorming ideas with ChatGPT and Gemini. First I tried music-based concepts 🎵 - even generated a few tracks, but nothing really clicked, and it didn’t feel right for the contest.

Then I switched to storytelling. Thought about making a narrative with voiceover using ElevenLabs 🎙️ Went back to ChatGPT… still nothing. At that point I just dropped it and decided to continue the next day.

But I really wanted to test 4K 👀 Also worth noting - 4K generation costs more than 2x compared to 1080p 💸

So I just started generating random scenes. At first - nothing special. On my small screen I didn’t even notice a big difference between 1080p and 4K. But then… something started forming.

A rough idea. A room. Tension.

And suddenly - the fridge 🧊

That idea literally appeared during generation: what if something inside the fridge is alive? That’s when everything started to click.

Then I thought - this could actually be an ad. Went to ChatGPT and asked for top Latvian products, and one of the first was Kārums curd snacks 😄 Perfect.

Found the new packaging with the cat from Flow - and it instantly fit the vibe.

Right before finishing I realized - I need a black cat 🐈‍⬛ at the beginning. As a subtle reference to what’s inside the fridge… and also to boost the horror feeling.

And that’s how the whole story slowly built itself ✨

💸 Spent: 2376 credits (~$32) + 6-7h of my time.
(yeah… 4K is not cheap 😅)

Ever felt like people aren’t really who they show themselves to be? 🎭

This idea came pretty naturally… after seeing way too many situations where everything looks real on the surface - but cracks start to show over time.

I wanted to visualize that feeling.
Like… what if the “mask” isn’t metaphorical - but literally breaks apart?
So I built this scene where Lil Prompt stands still… and his face starts cracking like concrete until the real version underneath is revealed.

Honestly, this one felt interesting to experiment with.

The final transformation shot turned out quite close to what I had in mind - especially the cracks, falling pieces, and slow motion details.

Tried to push Seedance into full action mode… and yeah… it didn’t go as planned 😅🎬

I wanted to test cinematic action again - helicopter chase, parkour, flips, crashing through windows…
Same idea I already did before, but this time with Lil Prompt in a cartoon style 🧠✨

Used the exact same prompts from my previous video

And honestly… the result kinda disappointed me.
Seedance absolutely nailed those parkour scenes in realistic style before -
but with a cartoon character? It struggled hard.

Tried the same thing in Kling…
and yeah, same story - deformations, motion blur, weird frames 😬

I even tried to salvage something in CapCut…
but let’s be real - it looked pretty bad 😂

At that point I was like…
“alright, forget this”

So I rewrote everything, made generations in Kling 3.0 & Kling Omni and just made Lil Prompt dance instead 💀🕺

And honestly… turned out way better 😄

Another day, another search for an idea 🎬😅

I was generating music, trying different concepts… but nothing really clicked. No idea felt right with the track.

So I went to Gemini for help 🤖
We landed on a theme about the passage of time - changing eras, evolving technology, and how everything moves forward ⏳

I started with Seedance 2.0 and made a couple of generations. The result was decent, but nothing crazy - probably because the concept itself was simple.
In this video Lil Prompt is just walking, no action scenes or fights (which is where Seedance really shines)

Then I tested Kling 3.0 - and honestly, the quality was pretty similar 👀
At that point… price started to matter.

After running out of credits from my subscription, I bought more through Freepik - but yeah, once you go beyond the included credits, the cost goes up (pretty much the same across all tools) 💸

Seedance 2.0 at 720p costs around $4.20 per generation - and that adds up fast, especially when results aren’t always perfect (deformations, prompt misses, etc.)

There’s also 1080p now, but it’s $10+ per generation… which is kinda wild 😅

So for this video I mixed in Kling generations as well - around $1.6 for ~13 seconds at 1080p (no audio), which is way more flexible for experimenting.

Wait… how many scam calls is TOO many? 📞😅

At this point it feels like a daily ritual… for YEARS.
With small breaks though - I guess even scammers take vacations 😂

This video was inspired by all those endless calls + a real story from a friend.
She met a “successful businessman” on Tinder…
Turns out the guy was using AI-generated photos AND videos pretending it was him 🤯

Luckily she figured it out in time 😌

Scammers are EVERYWHERE these days… 🚨

For this video, I originally planned to use Seedream 2.0,
but after 3 generations that completely ignored my prompts (and $13 gone 💸),
I switched back to Kling and finished everything there.

The idea was to show different types of modern scams,
but yeah… sometimes AI just doesn’t listen 😅

Still had fun with it though 👀

Still blown away by what Seedance 2.0 can do 🤯🔥

This time I wanted to push it further and test something more dynamic - a full rooftop chase sequence 🏃‍♂️🌃
Parkour, helicopters, glass breaking… basically trying to recreate that Hollywood energy 🎬💥

Started from a single frame… and built the whole sequence around it.
Shot after shot, tweaking prompts, fixing details (yeah… hoodie consistency matters 😅), until everything finally clicked.

What really impressed me this time:
the motion feels natural, camera movement looks alive, and the character stays consistent across all scenes - which is HUGE 🙌
Also, the glass break + indoor transition came out way better than I expected.

Not gonna lie - there were a few deformations here and there, and in a couple of moments I just closed my eyes and moved on 😄
You probably won’t even notice them anyway hehe 👀

Still amazed by what Seedance 2.0 can do 🤯🔥

This time I wanted to switch things up and try something more fun instead of action scenes 😄
Went for a vibe inspired by Deadpool - chaotic, a bit absurd, and playful 🎭💥

It started with a simple idea… and quickly turned into a full scene where time freezes, people get stuck mid-motion, and Lil Prompt just casually walks around messing with reality 😎🌀

Honestly, the results surprised me again -
the consistency, the camera work, the way it handles complex scenes… it just feels so cinematic 🎬✨

Finally got around to testing Seedance 2.0… and wow, I’m honestly impressed 🤯🔥

I wanted to push it with some action scenes - something close to a Hollywood-style fight sequence. After a few generations, I was blown away by the physics, overall quality, camera work, and cinematic effects 🎬

What really stood out:
– No weird deformations
– Character and outfit stay consistent across all shots 👀
– Clean fight choreography with no motion blur mess like in other models

Overall… this is next level.
From what I’ve seen today, Seedance is currently way ahead of Kling 3.0 / Kling Omni 🚀

One night I was generating new tracks for my playlist, and one of them hit me with a specific line. I kept replaying this 30-second moment over and over… and visuals just started forming in my head 🎬✨

I made a rough storyboard, picked a style I liked, generated a few video attempts - but honestly, it turned into a mess 😅 Didn’t even feel like posting it. So I just went to sleep 😴

Next day the track dropped on Spotify 🎶 I had it on repeat… and the visuals kept coming back. So I decided to finish what I started 💭➡️🎥

As usual, used my go-to workflow:
