The Isle of Canna was just everything a summer dream could be :) during Summer Solstice.

Ocean as clear as a pool, the sunburn was a serious matter (no one expected this weather in Scotland), the cliffs, the puffins, the cry of rare sea birds, the seals flapping on the rocks, the sunset over Skye, the colourful gardens, the lovely people and stories shared over cake and coffee.

The feeling of wildness still lingers on my mind, with no roads, but only a gently worn path to take you back to your abode for the night.

1 month of quiet countryside air, many cats and even more pots, polished, sanded and glazed before they get shipped to their new forever home all over the world for people to enjoy from

The textures, shapes and colours of this place were really striking. Kuldiga's medieval houses have witnessed countless narratives unfold for hundreds of years, all etched in the surfaces and foundations on which the town stands. I Found that the architecture and tactile nature of these buildings often brought me to the imagery of Tim Burton's animations and how this would be the perfect inspiration for an animated movie in the making.
