Spending a few days in Tuscany with these two was pure magic. We shared so much laughter, music, and raw, honest stories. It made it so beautifully clear to me: in destination photography, distances don’t matter.

Last week I had a chance to spend some time at Villa Monastero where I could test the photography conditions and see how the space works without total exclusivity. It’s a question I get often - "Can we still get "the shot" with other visitors around?" 📸 The answer is a yes. With a bit of creative framing between the botanical gardens and the architectural details, there’s always a quiet corner to find that perfect light.

Heading to Lake Como right before the season kicks off was the best decision! 🇮🇹✨

I wanted to share a few frames from Villa Aura del Lago, but more importantly, talk about why I actually went. It was mostly about the mental prep and growth before the season madness starts. Workshops like this are such a vibe because they’re a safe space to experiment with new techniques and gear that I’d never risk trying for the first time at a real wedding. Plus, learning the logistics is huge.

Being totally real: it’s not always "romantic"- shooting alongside a crowd of talented colleagues in tight spots isn't easy! It’s all about staying respectful, adapting fast, and making split-second creative calls.

But the best part? The people 🤍 We’re all so busy during peak season that we rarely get to actually talk. Seeing how everyone else works was so eye-opening and honestly just fun. It’s also the coolest thing to see what vendors can create when they have zero constraints - just pure, raw talent.

A huge thank you to the organizers for putting this together and giving us this space to grow 🙏👏

Can’t wait to bring this fresh energy and these new tricks into my upcoming weddings! 📸
