Rita & Nick dreamt up a wedding where nature was the heart of every detail, from the botanical gardens overlooking the Mediterranean to Ritaā€™s custom Elie Saab gown, embroidered with leaves and petals that looked as though they had grown from the landscape itself.

Claudia and Matthew got married this weekend and it was, simply, a lovely day.

Their people showed up for them fully. Present, warm, happy to be there. I spent most of the day following the energy of the group rather than directing.

By the end everyone was tired in that good way, the way you get when a day has actually given you something.

Glad I got to be there for it.

after getting up at 4am, we met Monica and William while it was still dark and reached the rocky coast just as the first light began to appear.

what followed was slow and quiet few hours spent together, soaking in the rising sun, with nothing to rush and nowhere else to be.
