ඉන්දියානු රොබින් යනු මස්කිකාපිඩේ පවුලේ පක්ෂි විශේෂයකි. එය ඉන්දියානු උප මහද්වීපයේ බහුලව පැතිරී ඇති අතර බංග්ලාදේශය, භූතානය, ඉන්දියාව, නේපාලය, පකිස්ථානය සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකාව පුරා විහිදේ. උතුරු උප විශේෂයේ පිරිමින්ට දුඹුරු පැහැති පිටුපස ඇති අතර ඒවායේ ප්‍රමාණය ක්‍රමයෙන් දකුණු දෙසට අඩු වන අතර දකුණු උප විශේෂවල පිරිමින්ට කළු පැහැති පිටුපස ඇත. ඒවා බහුලව දක්නට ලැබෙන්නේ විවෘත ලඳු කැලෑ ප්‍රදේශවල වන අතර බොහෝ විට බිම දිගේ දිවීම හෝ අඩු කටු පඳුරු හා පාෂාණ මත පිහිටා ඇත. දිගු වලිගය සාමාන්‍යයෙන් ඉහළට ඔසවා ඇති අතර චෙස්නට් ආවරණ ආවරණ සහ අඳුරු ශරීරය ඒවා පයිෂ් බුෂ්චැට් සහ පෙරදිග මැග්පී රොබින් වලින් පහසුවෙන් වෙන්කර හඳුනාගත හැකිය.
