Galdola Ella - Rakwana

Galdola Ella is a beautiful waterfall located within the Sinharaja Forest Reserve in Sri Lanka. The fall originates from a tributary of the Rakwana River, which flows down the eastern slope of Suriyakanda Mountain. As the water travels through the dense rainforest, it passes over rugged, rock-strewn terrain, creating a series of small cascades and pools.

Moray Fall – Maskeliya

Moray Fall is located within the Moray Estate, in the shadow of the beautiful Samanala Mountain Range. The waterfall is formed by a stream that originates from the Samanala Range and flows down into the Maskeliya Reservoir at the base of the fall. Moray Fall cascades gracefully in three distinct segments before reaching the reservoir below, creating a scenic and tranquil landscape. Just a few hundred meters away lies Gartmore Fall, another stunning waterfall that also flows into the Maskeliya Reservoir in a similar manner, adding to the natural beauty of the Maskeliya area.

Lanka Ella

Lanka Ella Falls is a beautiful and relatively untouched waterfall in Sri Lanka, mainly because it is located in a remote area. It lies about 1 km away from Bambarakanda Falls, the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka, and can only be reached by walking through the surrounding forest. The name “Lanka Ella” comes from the deep rock pool at its base, which resembles a teardrop shape similar to the island of Sri Lanka, making it unique and fascinating
