We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our talented students at the All-Island Music Competition 2026, where they secured 1st Place in the Western Province.

With immense pride, we celebrated and honoured the outstanding achievements of our students who excelled in the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination by obtaining 9A passes, as well as those who gained admission to universities. The D.S. Abhiman 2025 Felicitation Ceremony was held in a dignified and memorable manner to recognise their hard work, commitment, and excellence.

A moment of immense pride for Mother D.S.!

The Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony of D.S. Senanayake Central College, Mirigama was successfully held for the year 2026. We were deeply honoured to have Mr.Iran Champika De Silva, the distinguished Principal of Nalanda Vidyalaya as our Chief Guest, whose presence made the occasion even more memorable.
This year marked an exciting milestone: alongside our Junior and Senior Prefects, we officially inducted our newly introduced Grade 9 Junior Leaders into the Board.
Congratulations to all our newly appointed young leaders! We wish you every success as you step forward to serve your beloved alma mater with dedication, integrity, and honour.

උසස් පෙළ විභාගයට සූදානම් වන අපගේ දරුවන්ගේ මානසික සුවය, ආධ්‍යාත්මික ශක්තිය සහ අධිෂ්ඨානය තවදුරටත් වර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් සංවිධානය කළ සීල සමාදාන වැඩසටහන ඉතා බැතිබර අයුරින් සාර්ථකව පැවැත්විණි.

Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow!
The Board of Prefects of D.S. Senanayake Central College, Mirigama, recently concluded its Annual Prefects’ Training Camp, and it was a resounding success.
This year marked a special milestone, as the training programme was extended beyond our Senior and Junior Prefects to include our aspiring Junior Leaders. From team-building activities to leadership workshops, every participant demonstrated remarkable dedication, enthusiasm, discipline, and teamwork.
Investing in leadership development today helps build a brighter future for our school tomorrow. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Principal, the teachers in charge of the Board of Prefects, parents, facilitators, and everyone who contributed to making this camp a grand success.
