He has received Gold Medal @ Austrian Trierenberg Super Circuit, the world's largest photographic exhibition & competition in 2008. He's received the 'Grand Award Winner 2008' for the best photographer of Sri Lanka with 10 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals @ Photostar Circuit 2008
He is an active member of some notable Photographic societies & associations of Sri lanka. National Photographic Art Society of Sri lanka, Institute of Sri lankan photographers, Kelaniya Photographic Art society are some of them.
