හැර නොයති, රෑ තනි ව..."

එදා-මෙදාතුර,
මේ රඟමඬලෙහි කලාකරුවන් කොපමණ දෙනෙක් නම් ස්වකීය රැඟුම් පාන්නට ඇත් ද,
සරසවි මානවක, මානවිකාවෝ කොපමණ දෙනෙක් නම් ඒ රැඟුම් නරඹා ප්‍රහර්ෂයට පත් වන්නට ඇත් ද,
පෙර රැඟුමෙන්, ගැයුමෙන් එකලු වූ රඟමඬල,
සරාසඳ නික්ම ගිය සොවින් තැවෙන සේ අඳුරේ වෙලී ඇත; කණාමැදිරි එළි පමණක් දැල්වෙනු පෙනෙයි.

ගෙවෙමින් තිබෙන දුර්භාග්‍ය සමය දුරු ව නැවතත් මේ භූමිය රැඟුමෙන් ගැයුමෙන් ද තුරුණු සරසවි මානවක-මානවිකාවන්ගෙන් ද බැබලන කල දුර නො වේ වා!
