The Battle of Dreams – 2nd Encounter between St. Aloysius’ College, Galle and Holy Cross College, Kalutara was a memorable chapter in the proud history of school cricket. The match displayed great sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork from both sides, creating an exciting atmosphere for players and supporters alike.

After two days of competitive cricket, the match concluded in a draw, reflecting the balanced performances of both teams. Every player gave their best on the field, representing their schools with pride and dedication.

From the hallowed halls of Mount Calvary to the rugged peak of Lihini Gala, the Green and Gold spirit knows no bounds. In a breathtaking display of brotherhood and school pride, the Batch of 2016 led a mission that took our legacy straight into the heart of the ocean.

This wasn't just a journey; it was a feat of endurance. Our College Swimming Team fearlessly braved the tides, carrying the flag through the waves to the foot of the rock, while the Board of Prefects stood at the helm of coordination, ensuring our traditions were upheld with the highest honor.
As the salty breeze caught the fabric, we watched the St. Aloysius’ College flag unfurl atop the iconic Lihini Gala, standing tall against the horizon. This was a declaration of unity and a powerful call to arms for the Battle of the Dreams.
We go into this big match as one—carried by the strength of our swimmers, the leadership of our prefects, and the unwavering support of the Aloysian family. Let the sea witness our pride and the field witness our glory!
