Sometimes the smallest places make the best travel memories. Stopped by a tiny 7-Eleven in Chom Thong to grab a few essentials—and of course, I couldn’t leave without trying Thailand’s viral drink! 😄

The fun part? I made a viral drink for myself by mixing chocolate milk with banana milk. 🍫🍌🥤

If you’re visiting Chiang Mai, don’t miss Warorot Market (Kad Luang)—the city’s oldest and largest traditional market, located in the heart of Chiang Mai’s Chinatown. This is where locals actually shop, making it one of the most authentic places to experience Northern Thai culture. 🛍️🌿

Forget the typical tourist souvenirs for a moment. Here you’ll find:
👜 Beautiful handmade tote bags
👗 Affordable clothes and fabrics
👟 Shoes and accessories
🎁 Authentic Northern Thai handicrafts
🥭 Dried mango, longan, tamarind & local snacks
🌶️ Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage), Nam Prik Num, spices & tea
💐 Fresh flower stalls
😂 And yes… a few “questionable” snacks if you’re feeling adventurous!

I visited in the morning, and that’s when I think this market is at its best. The atmosphere is slower, cooler, and far less crowded than in the evening. You get to watch local life unfold instead of just shopping.
