Following a long-standing tradition, the SLIIT Student Interactive Society organised the SLIIT WALK 2017, which was held on October 01st. Under the theme ‘Strides for Hope’, over 3,000 SLIIT students and staff came together at Bloomfield Grounds Colombo, in order to create awareness about and actively be a part of uplifting the quality of life of underprivileged children in the country. The initiative is one that the SLIIT administration regards just as important as academics, as we aim to produce students who are empathetic, conscientious and responsible, as much as they are educated, professional and qualified.
