There are no hard and fast rules about what kind of work passes for commercial photography so I take the view that if someone is paying a photographer to create specific pictures to meet their needs then that is a commercial transaction. ls or almost anything that is requested of them by a client, can be described as commercial photography. Those clients can be other businesses, individuals, publishers, really the list of clients who can seek the services of a photographer to create pictures for them is very large. Which is actually a very good thing as it means there are lots of opportunities to find customers to work with.
