මාලිගාවිල රජමහා විහාරය

මාලිගාවිල රජමහා විහාරය මොනරාගල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ බුත්තල ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයට අයත්ව පිහිටා ඇත. මෙම විහාර සංකීර්ණය අක්කර 225ක භූමියක් පුරා ව්‍යාප්තව පවතී.
මෙම ස්ථානය 1936 වර්ෂයේ පුරාවිද්‍යා රක්ෂිතයක් බවට පත්වීය.

දඹේගොඩ බෝසත් ප්‍රතිමාව

මහාවංසයට අනුව ක්‍රි.ව. 8-9 සියවස්වලට අදාළ රෝහණය පාලනය කළ අග්බෝ රජුගේ සොහොයුරෙකු වූ පළමුවැනි දප්පුල රජු විසින් මෙම ප්‍රතිමාව නිමවන ලදි. බෝධිසත්‍ව ප්‍රතිමාවෙන් අවලෝතිකේශ්වර බෝධිසත්වයන් නිරූපණය කර ඇත. ප්‍රථිමාව උසින් අඩි 14 අගල් 10 1/2 පමණ වේ. ශිලාමය පාදමක් මත ඉදිකර ඇත. පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ අප්‍රතිහත ධෛර්යෙන් මෙම ප්‍රතිමාව මේ දක්වා ආරක්ෂාකොට ඇත. මෙම ප්‍රථිමාව අසළ දඹේගොඩ ටැම් ලිපිය දැකගත හැකිය.
