Galamuduna Temple is located in the Kahatharuppa area in the Badulla District and is today known as the 'Galamuduna Temple' as it is located on a rock top. It is said that below this rock there is a chamber where the Arahants meditated and a palace inside the rock. When you look down from this temple, you can enjoy the natural beauty.

At present the dagoba as well as the dwelling house of this temple are under construction and you too can contribute to this as much as you can.

The road is very dilapidated and can only be reached by motorcycle, three wheelers and vans.
