This year, unlike every other year,
I won’t be highlighting my work.
I won’t be counting achievements.
I won’t be measuring success by career milestones.
We are taught to evaluate our year through what we produce.
But that layer is secondary.
It does not define who we are.
This year, I choose to share the essence.
The moments that touched my soul.
The moments that made me feel alive.
The most important thing?
The Lord was present…clearly, undeniably.
This was the year I felt life flowing through me the most.
I witnessed miracles.
A lot can happen in one year.
My sister got married.
I visited a friend who entered the Carmelite life;
a life hidden from the world, sealed until her final breath.
Thérèse now prays for us from above.
Saint Charbel became family.
And my cat Tom, diagnosed with lung cancer 20 months ago, made it to 2026.
2025 was the best year of my life.
Not because it was easy.
But because it was true.
There were hard days.
There was a cross to carry.
But it is the cross that leads us to salvation.
If there is one thing I want to proclaim, it is this:
Jesus is real.
Alive.
Loving.
Powerful.
I am not proud of anything
I am blessed.
And endlessly grateful.
2026, I’m ready.
This year, I will glorify the Lord even more
with every talent and every breath He gave me.
Let us live it fully, my friend. ✝️🤍
