‘Hamra’ @17.23.magazine
This photo series was shot in the streets of Hamra, Beirut, around the forgotten brutalist architecture of the 60s. Hamra, meaning “red” in arabic, becomes more than a location. It’s a pulse, a trace of heat, a sign of life in a world gone brutally cold.
