One of the perks of working with Cayman Compass on the news side of things is getting a front-row seat to stories most people never see up close, like this one.

As hurricane season ramps up, the Cayman Islands Regiment has been putting in the work, running through intense disaster-response drills to make sure they're ready for whatever this season brings. From search-and-rescue scenarios to emergency response exercises, these part-time soldiers train hard so our community can feel a little more prepared when the skies turn grey.

Riptide Images was on the ground to capture it for Cayman Compass, and we're proud to share the footage with you. This is exactly why we love what we do, from our regular videography work to weekend news coverage for Cayman Compass, we get to tell the stories that matter to our islands.

We were thrilled to partner with Tower Marketing to produce the official highlight video for ReConnect 2026. Commissioned by CIRCA and brought to life through Tower’s expertly managed conference experience, our goal was to distill the energy, high-level networking, and industry-shaping insights of the event into a dynamic visual narrative.

The project focused on showcasing the unique atmosphere of this year’s gathering, which brought together 676 delegates from 212 companies across eight countries. By weaving together footage of the 11 panel discussions, the 49 expert speakers, and the essential human moments of connection, we crafted a piece that reflects the prestige and community impact of the ReConnect platform.

At Riptide Images, we are proud to have collaborated with Tower Marketing to help bring this marquee event to life, ensuring the legacy of ReConnect 2026 is preserved for all who were part of it.
