Intimate and Raw
These lovely couple spent some great time in the open.
Wildlife photographers look forward to capture these moments in the wild as the mating typically takes place in seclusion and very often away from the pride. When a male and female lion are in estrus they mate frequently up to 20–40 times a day for several days, the mating is very brief and thus these moment captured are memorable.
Fortunate to witness this moment during my 3rd trip to Masai Mara, Kenya.
