One of those places in Ulsan that feels completely different once the sun begins to set.

The 600-year-old walls of Byeongyeongseong overlook the surrounding neighborhoods, airport and city skyline. After dark, the path lights come on and the entire area becomes a peaceful place for an evening walk. With Para An cafe and its hammocks next door, it’s an easy spot to slow down and enjoy a quieter side of the city.

This is the massive RX-93ff ν (Nu) Gundam found outside LaLaport Fukuoka in Japan. For those who aren’t familiar with the franchise, Gundam is a massive Japanese sci-fi staple featuring giant, piloted humanoid robots. 
This specific statue is a true 1:1 scale model standing at a jaw-dropping 24.8 meters (over 81 feet) tall, making it the tallest life-sized Gundam ever built! 
It isn’t just a static statue, either. During the day, it puts on regular shows where its head actually rotates and its right arm moves. When the sun goes down, it gets even better—nightly shows kick off with dramatic LED light-up sequences synced to music and video projections on the building wall behind it. 
Seeing a nearly 25-meter-tall sci-fi robot casually towering over a shopping mall plaza is quite the experience.
