what does this image bring to mind? What do you think was on their minds? looking into an open horizon, crisp ocean water biting at the tops of the thighs, it’s a moment of pure contemplation. It’s a ‘just before’ moment. Just before you dive in, just before you let it all go, just before the cold rush washes over the body, soaking into every strand of hair, cooling the scalp. This is the moment we tense up before we relax, hold our breath before a deep exhale, and talk ourselves into embracing the discomfort before the euphoria kicks in.
