Cheonggyecheon Berlin Square(청계천 베를린광장) is created in 2005. It can be found at the southern end of Jangtong Bridge(장통교) which is fourth standing bridge across Cheonggyecheon. There are real ‘Berlin wall’ (graffiti side is West Berlin, no graffiti side is East Berlin) with a bear statue, the symbol of Berlin.

DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza, 동대문디자인플라자) is located near of Dongdaemoon fashion districts. This architecture is designed by Zaha Mohammad Hadid who is winner of Pritzker Architecture Prize. Before the DDP, Dongdaemoon Baseball Stadium & Sports Complex were here, and before those sports facilities, there was ‘Double Water Gate’ (이간수문, 二間水門) for old town Seoul during the Joseon Dynasty era.

I want my country to be the most beautiful country in the world. It doesn’t mean, we want to be strongest and richest country. I am heartbroken by foreign invasion, I do not want my country to invade others. It is enough, our wealth is sufficient to make our lives abundant, and our strength is sufficient to prevent the invasion of others. The only thing I want infinitely is the highest cultural power. The cultural power makes us happy, and furthermore, it gives happiness to others also.
