Beautiful Jeju Island nature

Haenyeo 해녀 or "sea women" are female divers on the Korean island of Jeju who free-dive for seaweed, shellfish and other seafood. Some of the women are in their 80s.
Last year this time, while in Jeju, I caught a glimpse of the remarkable diving grannies as they were entering the ocean to go diving. This year we're in Jeju again (teaching) and while driving along the coast sighted what looked like an elderly person in a wetsuit carrying a large load from the ocean. We quickly turned the car around and saw a lone haenyo walking up to the road with her catch. I grabbed the camera to go and meet her (photo 1-5) before she drove off on her little red buggy.
I then noticed the bright orange buoys in the ocean and decided to wait on the rocks to see if any more women appeared out of the dark waters. That's where I met the Haenyeo husbands! :-o They park their trucks at the edge of the ocean and then help their wives carry their equipment and catch. They were a friendly, warm, humorous group of men.
