ខ្ញុំបានថតសត្វ ក្អែកទឹកតូច (Indian Cormorant) មួយក្បាលនេះ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលដំណើរកម្សាន្តទៅកាន់ តំបន់រ៉ាមសារព្រែកទាល់។ សត្វប្រភេទនេះមានលក្ខណៈសម្គាល់ដោយចំពុះស្រួចវែង និងភ្នែកពណ៌ខៀវលាយបៃតងយ៉ាងទាក់ទាញ ហើយពួកវាចូលចិត្តរស់នៅតាមតំបន់ព្រៃលិចទឹកក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ព្រែកទាល់ពិតជាឋានសួគ៌សម្រាប់អ្នកស្រឡាញ់បក្សី ព្រោះវាជាជម្រកពងកូននៃសត្វស្លាបទឹកធំជាងគេបំផុតនៅអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ និងជាដែនជម្រកដ៏សំខាន់សម្រាប់ប្រភេទសត្វទាំងនេះ ដែលយើងតែងតែឃើញពួកវាហែលមុជទឹកចាប់ត្រី ឬហាលស្លាបនៅលើមែកដើមរាំង។

I spotted this Indian Cormorant (Phalacrocorax fuscicollis) during a recent trip to the Prek Toal Ramsar Site. Known for its slender bill and striking blue-green eyes, this species thrives in the flooded forests of Cambodia. Prek Toal is truly a birdwatcher’s paradise—it’s the largest waterbird colony in Southeast Asia and a critical sanctuary for species like this, which you can often see diving for fish or sunning their wings atop the Barringtonia trees.
There’s something so peaceful about watching the rhythm of life in this "Wetland of International Importance." If you haven't visited the core bird reserve yet, it’s a must-see to witness Cambodia’s incredible biodiversity firsthand! 🛶🐦
