🦏 White Rhinos at Nairobi National Park – Majestic Giants in the Wild 🇰🇪

Grateful to Canon Africa and Paras Chandaria for the incredible opportunity to witness and capture these iconic creatures up close during the wildlife masterclass. Your commitment to conservation and photography excellence made this moment unforgettable.

Did you know?

White rhinos are the second-largest land mammals after elephants.

Despite their name, they are grey, not white – the name comes from the Dutch word “wijde” (wide), referring to their wide mouths.

Nairobi National Park is one of the only capital city parks in the world where you can spot them roaming freely with a city skyline in the background.

White rhinos are near-threatened, making conservation efforts here absolutely crucial.

These giants can weigh over 2,000 kg and live up to 50 years!

📸 Seen one up close? It’s a memory you’ll never forget.

From "Yes" to "I Do"... to "It's a Girl!" 💍👰🏾🤰🏾👶🏾
Exactly one year ago, we were honored to capture the beautiful *“Yes”* at their engagement. Not long after, we documented their colorful *Ruracio* and magical wedding day — moments filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Fast-forward to a month ago, we celebrated a new chapter: their joyful baby shower. And today, we’re thrilled to announce they’ve been blessed with a beautiful baby girl! 💕✨

From milestone to milestone, we’ve had the privilege of walking this journey with them — telling their love story one frame at a time.

Tea farmers in Kenya face several challenges, including fluctuating global prices, high production costs, climate change, and exploitation by middlemen. Low market prices often reduce farmers' earnings, while high costs of fertilizers, labor, and transport further strain profitability. Unpredictable weather patterns, including droughts and excessive rainfall, affect tea yields and quality. Additionally, middlemen exploit small-scale farmers by offering low prices for their produce.

Solutions include diversifying markets to reduce reliance on a few buyers, adopting modern farming techniques such as irrigation and climate-resilient tea varieties, and forming cooperatives to increase bargaining power. The government and financial institutions can support farmers by offering affordable credit and subsidies for inputs. Encouraging value addition, such as processing and packaging tea locally, can boost earnings. Finally, digital platforms can help farmers access better prices and eliminate exploitative middlemen. Addressing these challenges holistically can improve farmers’ incomes and sustain the tea industry.
