Back from yet another trip to my second home with Natures Images. The Masai Mara remains my favourite spot on the planet with it's potential for wildlife photography (heartfelt thanks to the team at Offbeat Mara Camp and Offbeat Ndoto).

This time, I also got to visit another part of the country and what a treat it was! It's not every day you come across and see, let alone photograph a Black Leopard in the wild!

Asante sana, Kenya 🇰🇪! Can't wait to be back!

While I may not post as much as I used to, the Masai Mara remains my spiritual home.

I have just got back from spending another week there at the Mara North conservancy.

Back from another great trip to the Masai Mara with Natures Images.

Highlight has to be spending time with Luluka. First seeing her with a Serval kill, then being an absolute poser.

We came across a small group of 2 male lions and a female on a buffalo kill. This one seemed pretty content as a consequence, while his friends slept under the shade of a nearby tree.

One of the most impressing things about the Chobe was the sheer number of elephants that congregate around it, with huge herds of tens of elephants of all ages making their way to the river in the afternoon.

Here elephants regularly cross the river to one of the small islands to graze. Their trunks provide a natural snorkel.

The Okavango Delta was the perfect place to return to wildlife photography after the forced 2-year hiatus. It marked the start of a 2 week journey across northern Botswana, from Moremi Game Reserve up to the Chobe National Park.

Flying in at 500ft in a Cessna Caravan over the Delta was the perfect way to get a sense of scale of the floodplains.

Seeing the absolutely epic footage from South Africa of White Sharks breaching on this year's Shark Week is bringing back some good memories.

Here's the "splashdown" from the breach sequence.
