Tough LONG days in the field but our hopes are still up to find our elusive subject. When you want to film predators who’s natural instinct is to stay hidden in tough terrain, you have to face all challenges that come with it, even with little or no prospect of success. I am here for all of it, adventure and storytelling keeps my heart beating!

When facing such odds, you need the right partners, for that, I would like to give a super big thank you to Dr and for the immense support on this tough journey and for funding our first Expedition. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️❤️

AND THEN THERE WAS ONE.

Just a few days after my last post, Selenkei lost one of her cubs. It is a fact that just 5% of cheetah cubs survive to adulthood. Due to their smaller body size, cheetahs face huge danger from bigger predators who look at their cubs as future competitors of their food supply. With the current rate of habitat loss among other reasons, our beautiful cheetahs’ pressure to survive continues to increase, fast driving them into possible extinction. Cheetahs and other African Predators face many dangers, it’s literally a battle for survival. You cannot deny their resilience! Their resilience will be a huge source of inspiration for our stories.

Enjoy these images of Selenkei’s last meal with her two babies, photographed 15.04.22 at 5.19 pm. The following morning we got news that one of her cubs was missing and that she had spent the morning in distress and calling for the lost cub. 😔

Keep following our updates to know how you can help us keep documenting these wonderful creatures. ❤️❤️🇰🇪🇰🇪

Did you know Lion population in Africa has decreased by 90% in the last century?

How can we loose Africa’s most iconic Cat? - some of the questions that reminds us that it’s our duty to do something about it. We soon hope at bring forth issues that face lions in Africa like habitat loss due to human settlements through Film.

We hope we can play our small part in making sure we shake off this very real threat. Our grandchildren have a right to see this magnificent Predator!
