Late season in Antarctica is a time of drama. Young penguins leave the colony for the first time, and are t great swimmers yet, leopard seals lay in wait often hiding behind icebergs and rocks and give chase to these young penguins. Nature is brutal but this is how life goes if we want balanced ecosystem!

There’s something quite special with being face to face with such a fearsome predator, I’ve seen leopard seals shred dozens of penguins, but when you find them in the ice like this, calm and serene you forget about all the gore and can just admire them.

One of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever seen. A group of humpback whales bubble et feeding for hours while a young calf stayed at the surface learning the pattern and observing from the outside.
