By nurturing healthy soils, reducing reliance on synthetic inputs, and working in harmony with nature, smallholder farmers are producing nutritious food while protecting the ecosystems they depend on.
In a time of increasing climate uncertainty, agroecological practices are helping farming communities build resilience, improve yields sustainably, and strengthen local food systems. Beyond the harvest, these fields represent a commitment to environmental stewardship, improved livelihoods, and a future where agriculture supports both people and the planet.

Have you ever imagined what a period means for a girl living in a climate-affected community?

For many girls in drought- and flood-prone areas, access to sanitary pads, clean water, and safe sanitation remains a daily challenge. Too often, this means missed school days and lost opportunities.

A girl's period should never stand between her and her education.

Today, Didack Media partnered with HKSAI Organization to mark at Ushirika Primary School in Kibera, promoting menstrual dignity, education, and empowerment for every girl.

Together, we can build a where no girl is left behind.
Thank you HKSAI for allowing us to be part of this event it meant alot to us.
Didack Media will always be willing to support you anytime.

War may have taken part of his body, but it never took away his spirit.

At just four years old, this young boy survived a brutal conflict in Goma that left him with a disability and forced his family from their home. Today, he lives in a displacement camp, carrying the scars of a war he never chose. Yet when the ball rolls across the dusty ground, he is not defined by loss he is defined by possibility.

Surrounded by friends, laughter, and the joy of football, he reminds us that resilience is stronger than adversity. His dream is simple but powerful: to become a successful footballer and build a better future for himself and his family.

This image is not a story of disability or despair. It is a story of courage, inclusion, and hope. It shows that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the chance to play, dream, learn, and thrive.

Humanitarian efforts must go beyond emergency response. They must invest in education, psychosocial support, inclusive sports programs, and opportunities that help children affected by conflict rebuild their confidence and pursue their ambitions.
Because sometimes, the greatest victory is refusing to let your circumstances decide your future.

At 81 years old, Langama, a Samburu elder from Longopito on the border of Isiolo and Laikipia, has witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of climate change. Once the owner of more than 200 goats, he lost over half of his livestock to prolonged droughts that have become increasingly common across northern Kenya. The loss brought immense stress and uncertainty to his family and community.

Yet despite these challenges, Langama remains a strong believer in education. As a father of 20 children, he continues to support their learning at Longopito Primary School, a school with only three classrooms serving children in this remote region. His story reflects the resilience of pastoralist communities facing climate change and highlights how environmental shocks not only destroy livelihoods but also contribute to growing mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, and depression in arid and semi-arid areas.

Education remains a source of hope for families like Langama's, a pathway to opportunity, resilience, and a better future despite the hardships brought by a changing climate.

Behind the scenes of a powerful documentary with the Nacka Africa Foundation in Migori County. The organization is leveraging sustainable cage fish farming to empower its members by improving access to affordable fish and promoting economic independence within the community.

Through this initiative, Nacka Africa Foundation is helping address harmful practices by creating safer, structured systems that protect women from exploitation while strengthening dignity and equality. Over the course of a two-day documentary production, we explored how the organization has built impactful frameworks that not only safeguard its members but also create meaningful employment opportunities for both youth and women.

This is more than a story of fish farming; it is a story of resilience, empowerment, and sustainable community transformation.
