Raila Odinga International Stadium Takes Shape
The Raila Odinga International Stadium at Jamhuri Grounds along Ngong Road is nearing completion, standing as a tribute to Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga and his enduring passion for sports and a modern Kenya.

The 60,000-seater world-class facility is being built to host major sporting events, including the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations opening and closing ceremonies.

Construction is now in its final phase, with the main pitch levelled and work continuing on the roof, seating, floodlights, LED screens, VAR facilities and other modern systems.

Surrounding training pitches, access roads, power infrastructure and a railway connection are also progressing, positioning the stadium as a major sporting landmark for Kenya and future generations.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sultan Manyok Deng Biar Abit, Head of Pawuoi Payam, who passed away this morning at 5:00 a.m. at Real Daycare.He was 76 years old.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Burial and funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
