Absolutely stunning and memorable encounter with a group of 7rhinos from sunrise onwards. Lake Nakuru National Park delivered! Was here a few years ago and I must say I am more impressed with it now then at the time. The ecosystem is absolutely beautiful and displays great diversity. The herds of buffaloes are enormous, I got to see three herds of 15giraffes in a matter of 30min and the population of flamingoes, albeit not close to what it was before, is generous. Highly recommended !

If you ever get the chance, don’t miss out on a chance to visit one of Africa’s most amazing and majestic parks. Amboseli bosts an amazing variety of species but is most famous for its elephant population. This picture was taken in the morning when elephant herds leave the forest to go into the swamps. Taken with a tilt&shift lens... Preparing my next exhibition. This one will be part of it for sure.

Filming Olalacho (our Maasai guide also called Johnathan) in Maasai Mara near end of day. Shooting a video for the camp he is working with: Mara Duma Bush Camp. They are run by and involved with local community. They started in December and need a push so I figured I would offer my services and get them a new website + video. They deserve it! Also with our camp aid Mike. Awesome light at the end of the day and what an amazing background to shoot with: wild savanna with herds of wildebeest, zebras and antilopes. @ Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya

Amboseli is one of my favorite places to go on safari. It is the only park from which you get fantastic views on Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop and the elephant population is surreal. They are rather accustomed to vehicles and show little fear o r animosity which leans they often walk right by you. Really cool.

Sabi Sands private game reserve in the Great Kruger area is arguably one of the best places in Africa to go on a safari: outstanding services (guides, spotters), great anti-poaching, few people, respect for the animals, off-roading to get close and... great wildlife population. Expect amazing encounters with leopards, lions, rhinos and wild dogs!

Incredible. I was fortunate to spend a whole afternoon with a herd of approximately 300 elephants, peacefully roaming. After about 2 hours of lazy grazing, the matriarch decided it was time to move and the herd headed straight towards our vehicule. The herd split in two going left and right around the car. I litterally could have extended my arm to touch them. Precious moment.
