Giraffes are so lovely. It was amazing to see a young one with its mother, so vulnerable in the first couple of weeks of its life before it can keep up with the herd. As well as a splendid adult male having a chomp.

Time for The Boss today. Normally so lazy and yet so magnificent.

Something a little different this time. An ICM shot, deliberately blurred, to give this a water colour feel.

This was a special one. Our guide from Emboo Camps spotted a lone cheetah walking along and so placed us ahead to get a good view as he walked. In doing this we saw a second one chilling under a bush and so we waited. They met, fought, had a stand off, fought again, and then the loser flew away chased at the speed of light by the victor until he sat in this bush over a river. It was like the old cartoons, a ferocious ball, fur flying. Incredible to see.

Just back from a fabulous safari Emboo Camps and of course I had to start with that most magnificent of creatures, the leopard. I believe this beauty is called Fualu and she knew just how fabulous she was, sauntering past our silent electric vehicle.

This is a funny one. Incredible scenery. Wonderful light. And yet hard to make a coherent shot out of it. I'll almost certainly revisit this and try different crops but for now here is the super wide of an overnight shoot at Landmannalaugur in the highlands of Iceland. I'd shot sunset, hiked down one mountain, quick thermos of coffee in the car, then hiked up another mountain to shoot this amazing sunrise. Before hiking back down, driving back to base and going to bed at about 8am.

Iceland has so many incredible waterfalls. This is just a fairly normal one and yet it's still awesome. Brúarfoss is really easy to access and lots of angles you can explore it from.
