七ツ石神社の社殿再建・狛犬復帰(11/7予定)を記念して、第3回「狼伝承と登る七ツ石山展」を開催します。各メンバーの新作も用意していますので是非お立ち寄りください！　
会期：11/1（木）〜6（火）
場所：デパート・フロム中武3F催事場　（立川駅or立川北駅から徒歩2分）
開場時間：10~18時　
※入場無料

We are going to hold 'The Exhibition : Mountaineering on Mt.Nanatsuishi with the wolf-legend' the 3rd to commemorate renewal of Nanatsuishi Shrine's building and wolf statues (estimated on 7th Nov.). We'll show some new works too. Wishing to meet you at the venue!

瀬戸内海の古くからの港町、鞆の浦にて。中央奥の燈籠塔は1859年に建てられたもの。夕涼みの散歩をしていた地元の方に声を掛けて撮らせていただいた。とても仲良さげで最初は親子かと思っていたらお姑さんとお嫁さんで、お嫁さんはカンボジアから来られたそう。静かな波の寄せる小さな港町の一角で、長い時と長い距離を隔てた世界が穏やかに交錯していた。2018年6月9日、午後7時半ごろ撮影。

In Tomonoura, an old port town of Seto-naikai. The lantern tower at the center was built in 1859. I asked 2 ladies who walked around here to take this photo. At first, I thought that they were mother and daughter because looked so close but in fact they were a Japanese mother-in-law and daughter-in-law from Cambodia. At a corner of this small port town with silent waves, various worlds gently intermingled over long time and long distance. On 9th June 2018, around 19:30.

丹波山村郷土民俗資料館で開催中の「七ツ石神社の狛犬展示」。
会期は3/31（土）までです！

Posting some corners of the exhibition of Nanatsuishi Jinja Shrines’s komainu statues at Tabayama-mura kyodo minzoku shiryo-kan.
It opens until next Saturday (3/31).

七ツ石神社の狛犬が丹波山村で展示されます。
標高約1,700mの社殿の傍らで、長年の風雪に耐え続けた狼の狛犬が、
修復のためにおよそ150年（推定）ぶりに人里へ降りてきました。

「狼伝承と登る七ツ石山展」の展示メンバーの作品（最新作含む）とともにお披露目します。
この機会に是非、丹波山村を訪れてみてください！
私のおすすめスポットはリニューアルされた温泉「のめこい湯」（3月15日から営業再開）です。

会期：平成30年3月18日（日）〜3月31日（土）
場所：丹波山村郷土民俗資料館
入場無料

The komainu-statues of Nanatsuihi Jinja Shrine will be exhibited in Tabayama Village.
The statues which tells an old wolf-worshiping to us had come down to the village to be repaired, it has been almost 150 years (estimated) since they were installed beside Nanatsuishi Jinja at the high place alt.1,700m.

They will be displayed with some art works of the members of ‘Exhibition: Mountaineering on Mt.Nanatsuishi with the wolf-legend’, including the latest works.
Please take this opportunity to visit Tabayama Village!

My recommended place is renewed ’Nomekoi-Yu’, a natural hot spring. It’ll be re-open since 15th March.

再建に向けた取り壊し（3/10〜）を前にした七ツ石神社。
傾いた社殿とももうすぐお別れ。この奇跡的な姿にこそ何かを感じ取ってきた人も多いのではないかと思う。
ここ数年に渡って何度となく撮ってきたが、自分にとってはこれが最後の一枚となる。
3月4日午前4時半頃から約13分間、月明かりでのバルブ撮影。
肉眼では当然月明かりに照らされた地面の雪ぐらいしか見えなかったが、露出時間を長くすることで昼間のように明るく撮ることができる。
それでも通常は月明かりの差す部分と影の部分の明暗差がかなり強くなってしまうのだが、
ちょうどよく地面に残った雪がレフ板の代わりとなって社殿の姿を浮かび上がらせてくれた。

Nanatsuishi Shrine is to be demolished since 10th March for rebuilding.
We must say good-bye to this leaning shrine soon.
I suppose so many people have felt something on this because of the miraculous shape.
I’ve took several pictures of this shrine for these years, this is the final one for me.
It was early in the morning of 4th March, by bulb shooting for approx. 13 minutes since almost 4:30 AM under the moonlight.
Of course my eyes couldn’t see anything except the snowed ground in the moonlight but long time exposure made the picture so bright as if it was took in daylight.
Though it’s so, usually the contrast becomes too strong to catch the view homogeneously.
But just in time, the appearance emerged from the darkness by the moonlight reflected on the snow.

今回は玉川麻衣さんの作品『骨女』の紹介を。
この作品は先月の「Kowaii展」（八犬堂主催、銀座）で展示されていたもので、
「本当なら生きて恋をしたかったのだろうな」と妖怪の側からの視点を想像させる
独特の描き方が魅力的な作品ですが、
骨女の頬に触れている腕は、実は私の腕なのです（どどーん）！

と、無意味に怪談口調になってしまいましたが、
自分の腕なぞが玉川さんの作品世界の中に登場させていただけて光栄の至りですm(_ _)m
貴重な機会を本当にありがとうございました！
しかしすでに売却済みとはいえ、この情報が元で絵の価値が下がらないとよいのですが（汗）

I’d like to introduce a drawing work titled ‘骨女 Hone-onna (skeleton woman)’ by Mai Tamagakwa.
Hone-onna is a specter which appeared on some supernatural tales in Edo period in Japan.
This picture was displayed in ‘Kowaii Exhibition’ in Ginza last month.
It shows her unique and charming expression that makes us feel the perspective and the desire of the specter’s side, tells how she wanted to be alive and in love with the man.
And to tell the truth about the arm touches on her cheek, it is mine.

It’s an great honor for me that my arm was drawn in the world of her artwork.
Thank you very much for such a fantastic opportunity!
But I’m wondering if this information deflates the value of the work even it was already sold…

先週末、友人たちに連れられて行った日光某所の氷瀑にて自撮り。滝の裏側からライトを照らして撮影。氷の厚みによって水色に光る。

A selfie shot at a frozen waterfall in Nikko, Tochigi Pref last weekend. Thanks to my friends who took me there. I put some headlamps from behind the waterfall. The thickness of the ice made the lights blue.

阿佐ヶ谷・馬橋稲荷神社にて、今朝の午前6時ごろ。中でお勤めの太鼓が鳴っていた。
At Mabashi Inari Jinja Shrine in Asagaya, Tokyo. Around 6 AM. Sound for morning service of Shintoism was heard.

奥多摩小屋テント場（標高1750m）の夕暮れ。2017年12月30日撮影。
富士山の眺めも素晴らしいこの小屋も老朽化のため年度内で廃止との話が。
ここを思い出の場にしている人も多いと思います。無事に営業継続できるといいのだけれど・・・。
最新情報をお持ちの方は是非お知らせくださいm(_ _)m

A twilight scene from Okutama Hut’s camping site (alt. 1,750M), 30th Dec. 2017.
It has wonderful view with Mt.Fuji but I heard that it’ll be closed till March for deterioration of the building.
I suppose this place must be a very memorable place for so many hikers. I hope it lasts more and more.
Please tell me the latest information about it if you get.
