Thank you, Mr. Lin, for sharing the photos.

The converter really works well and birds look so close and real. The very first photo down below can tell you the actual distance.

Some info from Mr. Lin:

The dark bird is a Oriental Dollarbird, the bright birds are Rose-ringed Parakeet, and the "eagle" is a Brahminy Kite.

Kenneth from Wyoming, USA kindly sent me some photos he shot with the Voigtlander Color Skopar 28mm f2.8 SL II N (Nikon mount) lens he recently purchased from Very Best Cameras Japan.

Splendid photos. The lens is obviously ideal for landscapes and street photos. It's a pancake type lens, so you can take it with you light anywhere.

Thank you, Kenneth, for contributing in my FB.

Nikon's next generation flag ship model D5 is coming out soon. Nikon did not announce the specific release date yet, though the launch is scheduled sometime in March. Recently, the Nikon showrooms in Tokyo are full of photographers who are eager to see the demonstration of the model.

Here are a couple of videos from this year's CES.

Guðni Þór from Iceland shared the photos with us. The shots were done with Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II camera. Shooting location is Hvalfjörður (Whale-fjord), west coast of Iceland. Amazingly beautiful shots! The kit lens is Zuiko 12-50mm EZ that is weatherproof and is able to shoot macro images, as you can see the amazing photo of the horse! Thank you very much, Guðni Þór!

Dennis from Hong Kong shared the photos he took during his last Japan trip. The photoshoot took place in Kumobaike, aka Swan Lake, in Karuizawa where old maple trees all over, and when leaves turn golden and red in autumn, it makes a feast for the eyes. Dennis photographed the same maple leaf twice on different days in October. The leaf looks very different between the two photos!
Thanks Dennis!

Received amazing photos from Pierre in Canada. Pierre took photos using the Kowa 8.5mm Prominar lens and Marumi DHG 86mm Super Lens Protect filter, both of which were his recent purchase from Very Best Cameras Japan.
Photos were taken just across from the Parliament Buildings at the Museum of History in the evening.
It was a fireworks display from Spain as part of an annual competition. Thanks Pierre!
